Happy Halloween!!!
We spent Halloween in the cemetery because we decided to visit today rather than tomorrow. Trins brought my guitar, and we sang and sang the whole day. David was so cute; the adults were asking him if he wanted to stroll outside our mausoleum and go ghost hunting, he kept smiling and was about to go with them until someone said “Casper” he turned around and looked scared. He was more scared of Casper than the word ghost. Oh well, that’s about it but of course we didn’t forget to pray…
October 22
Anna’s birthday was yesterday but we decided to celebrate it today because it’s Saturday. Actually today was food trip day. When we arrived in Greenbelt, Katsy and I ate Jamaican patties and Mrs. Fields cookies because it was our “snunch” we strolled in the mall trying to look for a gift for Anna. We came across National Bookstore and told Anna to pick a book she liked “but within budget” hehe. She finally picked a book which Katsy and I also picked but we couldn’t decide if she would like it so we bought it and gave it to Anna while laughing uncontrollably. After that we decided to pick where we were going to eat, we strolled and strolled and kept looking at menu’s outside the restaurant if the food was good and affordable. We ended up with the Seafood Club, and ordered steak and prawns and another shrimp dish (take note: crabs are the specialty of the house) I teased Anna and Katsy because they couldn’t decide what appetizer to get. We ended up with Katsy’s pick it was chicharon bulaklak, she ended up finisheg the whole thing because Anna and I only tasted it. We went to Café Breton for our dessert, we ordered La Pinay, and it tasted so good oh well because I love mangoes and vanilla ice cream. After that you would think we’re done but NO! We went straight to Max Brenner, our mouths watered at the sight of the different desserts there. We ended up ordering pink grapefruit and mint margarita which made me so red. (fyi: I really get red whenever I drink alcohol, that’s why I’m not very keen on drinking. I just do it when I feel like it.) it was almost time to go, so we vowed to come back and try the other stuff in their enticing looking menu (i.e. the chocolates) Last but not the least, we went to Coffee bean and tea leaf and I ordered my favorite white chocolate dream ice blended the two had different orders. We kept laughing while taking pictures, and we kept posing maybe it was the alcohol in our system or maybe because we were three friends who missed kidding around with each other.
October 15
I spent most of the afternoon waiting for people… okay never mind bout that part because the reason I put off making a blog is simply because of that.
Anywayz, it was Vida’s birthday we spent it at Intramuros in the Spanish festival. It took some time before we got seats because there were lots of people. Turns out they were all there waiting for the free paella. While waiting rather searching for seats we saw MK, actually Mhina saw MK. I shouted to her and we met in the middle of the stairs (no, not the dramatic slow motion kinda meeting! hehe) I took her to where Edz and Girlie were and suddenly to mine & Edz shock she picked up Girlie hehe I guess they were happy to see each other. Oh well, but that was it MK went back to her friends after that and we continued our night. The food was great! It tasted so good. To think I’m not much of a paella lover. Vida was surprised because while we were eating Edz and Mhina presented her with a cake and we all sang happy birthday. She was kinda embarrassed but blew the candles nonetheless. We took lotsa pictures during the day but I’m just going to share one hehe
