Sad Post

As much as i don't wanna document this event... the problem is I need to vent... and this is the only place I can do that...

The tigers should have won it! If only that "guy" didn't ruin the moment for everyone!!!!
I should be celebrating... but alas... I'm not!!!

I know that everything happens according to God's plan...
I accept it...
I just feel so sad...

Oh well, as my friend told me "Fall 1 time and Rise again 2 times"

UST Enters the Finals in Cinderella Fashion

Who would have thought that UST would make it?!
I sure didn't!!! (forgive me for admitting that)

From the bottom of the standings in the first round they barged to the finals!!!
They were the team who broke the winning streak of ADMU...
They beat ADU to get the 3rd place...
They beat UE twice... in 2 very dramatic games!!!!
(Take note: most of these games were faced by an incomplete Tiger line-up... due to several illnesses, injuries etc)


Now I know how it feels when your alma mater enters the finals!!!
Unfortunately, during my college years UST only entered the final four once and never the finals... but all that is water under the bridge... The tigers needs the support of the whole Thomasian community... (Students, Alumni, Parents, Priests, etc)


"Heroes are made, not born & this time, a young team proved that they are HEROES in the making...

Missin Bora already

Just came home from our trip to Bora...
I miss it already... The sand... the shore... the beach... the waves... the shakes... the snorkeling... the swimming... the henna tattoos... the food... everything!!!

I couldn’t wait to go back there!!! I’ll be back there next year!!! I’m making a promise to myself!!! Ü

It was so much fun and relaxing to go there...
No worries... No problems... Everything just seems so laid back... *sigh*

Anywayz, I tried to ride the fly fish for the first time... It was great!!! I didn’t fall down!!! Ü *I was glued to the flyfish* hehe Ü

Unfortunately, Vien & I didn't get a picture during sunrise or sunset coz, sunrise was just too early... and we were too lazy to go ashore and take our phones to capture the beautiful sunset... add to that that the sun was always hiding...

To everyone that wished it rained... Bad news! It didn't rain... we experienced a lil drizzle but that was it! hehe Ü

Sigh, while we were enjoying the waves everyone concluded that we wanted to stay there a lot longer... I even wanted a PS Boracay just so I wouldn’t need to leave the beach! Yeah, Twinkz... keep dreaming... Ü

5 Consecutive Years of Dancing Excellence

Yes, you read it right the Salinggawi Dance Troupe proved once again that they rule!!!

As traditon dictates it, Marjo & I watched the cheerdance (clad in black "part of tradition") but now we were accompanied by the kada minus 1. Edz couldn't make it so she opted to watch on tv & did an OTH marathon after (different story.)

Lo and behold, Marjo was really early, she arrived 10:30 for our 11 am meeting time. As usual, we had fun talking and catching up, (Oh i arrived a lil after 11 hehe Ü) When Girlie arrived we decided to check if we could enter and save seats for the others. We were relieved when we saw that the gates were open, (we were gonna die due to "yosi" smoke in Starbucks if we stayed there longer) we searched for the USt side of things and imagine our surprise... It wasn't even 12 yet and the UST side in Upper A was already filled up.

We first decided to sit in the (left side of UST area) their reps told us to transfer because that was for their students only. Marjo told her that there is no more place in the UST area and stood her ground, more like "sitted" her ground coz she didn't move... Girlie & I didn't move also. When we scanned the area we saw that the (right side of UST area) wasn't filled up yet... so Girlie went there to find seats, a rep of their school prevented her and she told them off and relayed to us what happened. Finally, we decided to settle in the stairs. We were getting comfy when a gurd told us to find seats coz we can't sit in the stairs. I told him that we couldn't coz all seats reserved for UST were taken and I explained ti him that we tried getting seats but the other schools prevented us. So he backed off. EJ, Tequi & Mhina finally arrived and EJ wouldn't settle for the stairs so she marched over to the right side of the UST area and reserved seats.

Whew! Watching the UAAP Cheerdance competition gives me a high!!!
Specially, when the Salinggawi performs.. they really know how to captivate an audience...
Banners mean nothing but God-given talent, being humble & poise under pressure gives you championships!!!

UST is in the Final Four

Yes! After so long! The UST tigers are back in the final four!!!

The win of ADMU vs FEU sealed the final four berth of UST, the only thing left to be decided on is the position of UST in the final four. Will it be the 3rd spot or the 4th spot?
Whatever spot it is, I just pray that UST wins and plays their hearts out and let God do the rest... Possibly a finals appearance???

Who knows? right? *wink*

Anyways, Sunday will be the UAAP Cheering Competition and the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe will be defending the crown that they've been holding for the past 4 years...
Praying for a splendid show with no injuries, before during and after the competion Ü
Also praying that the winners will be humble and the losers be gracious in defeat... Ü

24 Hours and Counting....

Yes! I am officially awake for 24 hours and counting.... (again)
As usual, graveyard shift is the culprit... hehe
after our shift Vien, Rani, Edz & I (Edz, just came in early... she didn't stay overnight) went straight to the 27th Manila International Book Fair
We started with Power Books but then there were just so many books Edz, texted us to just " Go Wild" And yes, we went wild!!! Okay, I'll just speak for myself... I spent P1, 349 all on books!!! (okay, well... there were magazines also) That's big! okay... books are an investment... (keep reminding yourself TwinkzÜ)
Special mention to Rani... Thank you for carrying my stuff!!! It was so heavy... I swear!!! (Jovy, wag magagalit! mabigat lang talaga yung books! hehe) The books were no sweat but the magazines were. I wonder why I decided to buy them first before the books... You should have seen me trying to carry those magz while paying for the books I was buying... Whew! not a pretty sight!!!

'Twas a tiring day but I enjoyed my day/night...
