where are you...?

***such a nice song...
Where Are You?
I know you out there baby
So where?
There's someone out there for me...
I know she's waiting so patiently
Can you tell me her name?
This life long search is gonna drive me insane
How does she laugh, how does she cry,
What's the color of her eyes,
Does she even realize I'm here?....
Where is she?
Where is she?
Where is she?
Where is this beautiful girl?
Who is she?
Who is she?
Who's gonna complete my world?
Where is she?
Where is she?
Where is this beautiful girl?

Who is she?
Who is she?
Who's gonna complete my world?
La la la la la la la.. la la la la laaa.. La la la la la la la..

I'm starin out at the sky...
Prayin' that he will walk in my life
Where is the man of my dreams?
Yeah...
I'd wait forever, how silly it seems

How does he laugh, how does he cry,
What's the color of his eyes,
Does he even realize I'm here?....

Where is he?
Where is he?
Where is he?
Where is this beautiful guy?

Who is he?
Who is he?
Who's gonna take me so high?

Where is he?
Where is he?
Where is this beautiful guy?

Who is he?
Who is he?
Who's gonna take me so high?

La la la la la la la.. la la la la laaa.. La la la la la la la..

Where are you...?
There's someone out there for me...

(Yeah...I know you're out there...)
La la la la la la la.. la la la la laaa.. La la la la la la la..

Where are you?
I'm a look all over the world baby
Cuz I know you're out there
I know it might sound crazy...
But I love you
La la la la la la la..

a touching story

I stumbled upon this story in one of the forums i visit...
It's such a nice story...

It was a busy morning, approximately 8:30 am, when an elderly gentleman in his 80's, arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He stated that he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am.

I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would to able to see him. I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound.

On exam it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound. While taking care of his wound, we began to engage in conversation. I asked him if he had a doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife.

I then inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for awhile and that she was a victim of Alzheimer Disease. As we talked, and I finished dressing his wound, I asked if she would be worried if he was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now.

I was surprised, and asked him. "And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?"

He smiled as he patted my hand and said. She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is."

I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought, "That is the kind of love I want in my life."

True love is neither physical, nor romantic. True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be.

Blue Moon

I watched Blue Moon a while ago...

I liked the movie... I think it's the hopeless romantic side of me that made me love the movie...
here's the synopsis

At a lonely home in Boston, Massachusetts, an elderly Filipina named Corazon is writing a letter, the latest in a long line of letters she has written. Knowing she doesn’t have much time left, Corazon is writing to every man named Manuel Pineda who’s listed in the Philippine directory, identifying herself as his long-lost love.

At the same time, in the Philippines, an elderly man named Manuel Pineda is diagnosed with cancer, and told he only has a few months to live. Manuel decides that before he dies, he wants to find the woman he loves most, whom he hasn’t seen in decades: Corazon.
Such is the dramatic opening of Regal Entertainment’s “Blue Moon,” a hopeful, moving love story that spans nine decades. It is an emotional journey, one which will speak volumes about the resilience of the human heart and the healing power of forgiveness.

“Blue Moon” follows Manuel’s daunting search for Corazon. He’s joined by his emotionally distant son Rod,and recently-separated grandson Kyle As Rod and Kyle accompany Manuel in his search for his lady love, they discover that there were actually two ladies named Corazon in Manuel’s life: the Corazon whom Manuel married after World War 2 (Rod’s mother), and the Corazon who was Manuel’s first love first love in 1938.

The blossoming of young love between the dashing young Manuel and the two Corazons is “Blue Moon’s” romantic core. It is set in the idyllic innocence of life in rural Philippines in the late 30s, when a stolen glance and a tentative dance under moonlit skies could unite the hearts of a lady and a gentleman.

The story then takes a more somber turn when World War 2 thrusts the trio into a conflict which threatens to extinguish the innocence and purity of their love.
