1st Trip to Boracay
I’m Back!!!!
After five days of summer fun, I’m back here in manila and typing away in my pc…
Okay let’s go straight to my diary of events….
May 25
I woke up at around 10 am to fix some stuff for our long trip to Bora. Guess what? My allergies and colds picked a very great time to pop out! It was a major bummer!!! But I didn’t let that rain on my parade. When we arrived in the terminal a lot of people were there already boarding the Super Ferry (Our Lady of Medjugorie to be exact.) We checked in and saw our cabin for the first time. It was nice, it had 3 double deck beds. I picked the top bunk of course!!! Haha=) mom settled under my bunk and dad below the bunk beside me which I designated to Trins. After a few minutes, Ninong Nards, Ninang Donna and Trins arrived. Woohoo!!! We were complete!!! There’s no turning back!!!
May 26
After eating, sleeping, watching tv for hours we finally arrived the Port of Dumaguit!!! It was already 6 am, the captain had a hard time parking so we waited in the lobby of the ship for like 10 minutes or so. When we finally disembarked we immediately rode on a van that will take us to Caticlan. It was a two hour trip that was very boring because the signals of our phone went off, on, off, on, off….. After a lot of naps and few chats we finally arrived in Caticlan. We had to ride a boat to take us to Boracay Island…
*Drumroll please*
We finally arrived in Boracay!!!!
We went straight to our accommodations (Boracay Beach Chalets) <---- it was so nice coz Trins and I got our very own chalet, mom, dad and her parents stayed in a bigger chalet that houses 4 people. Their chalet was nicer and bigger but we had our “own chalet” I can’t say that enough!!! It was cool!!! When we were settled we went for our first swim, the water was so clear, it was so refreshing!!! After that we looked for a place to have lunch, we found a place in station 2 (I forgot the name, sorry) then we swam again. After a few minutes we rode a banana boat, mom didn’t want to so she rode in the speedboat with the driver to take our pictures & video our ride. The ride was so cool!!! It felt like you were riding a roller coaster but we were in the water. When the ride ended we were so excited to see our pics but unfortunately mom wasn’t able to save the video and the only picture we had, had her finger on top, but it was okay because the important thing is that we know we rode the banana boat even though we have so little proof. We had dinner and planned for the next day’s activities, we got ourselves booked for an island tour.
May 27
We woke up early to get our henna tattoos, we had a hard time finding a person who does it because I think it was normally done at night, but we soon found one who would do it. Dad was the first one who picked a design; his was a leopard head that was placed in his left arm. I was next, mine was of course a dolphin I had it placed in my right lower leg. Trins wanted hers in her back opposite her belly botton because that was the only place she could have it since school was starting, her school doesn’t allow such things. It was finished right in time for our island trip. We did a lot of snorkeling, it was fun but I had a hard time with the fins so the next snorkeling we did I didn’t wear the fins anymore. We went to Crocodile Island, Puka Beach, Crystal Cove and some other islands I forgot the name. The trip was from 10 am to 5pm. It was so much fun, it was also in that trip that I got the tan I wanted. I love the tan on my back. I’m so happy =) When we got back we swam again, we were really “making sulit” the beach. After a few hours we washed up and got ready for dinner. We decided to go to Jonah’s in station 1 but the adults didn’t like the venue very much because it was open air and the wind was strong. We walked a long time looking for another place, finally Trins and I settled in Jonah’s while they ate elsewhere. The shakes were divine! I loved the Mango banana!!! I think I’ll make that here… Bad news!!! When we arrived in our chalet Trins was sick, she had a temperature, so we opted to stay in for the night.

Our last day in Boracay, we ate lunch in our parents’ chalet. They bought lunch for us. It tasted good, it was sinigang na hipon. We rested for a while then swam again, Trins said “Sa boat na ko magrerest, susulitin ko na tong Boracay” I totally agree with her. If I was the one who was sick I would also want to enjoy. We swam the whole day, talagang sinulit namin! After that we had dinner in D’mall, the food was great but it took a while for it to get cooked so mom and ninang Donna decided to shop first while waiting for the food. After eating we went to Cocomangas, but we stayed just for a while. I’m not nagrereklamo or anything but I wish I had my friends there because we didn’t stay long we just kinds looked at the singers and at the shooters bar we just took a peek. Maybe because I was just looking for the night life I’ve always wanted in Boracay. I guess it wasn’t really possible because I was with parents and a minor. What could I expect right? Nevertheless, I didn’t let that experience ruin my last night in Boracay. I still enjoyed walking in the sand and looking at the stars.

I woke up to a very sad day because we were leaving the paradise known as Boracay. I love Boracay I want to go back as soon as possible. I’m really a waterbaby!!! I love it! I love everything about it! Okay maybe not everything but most of it! To anyone who hasn’t been there, you’re missing half your life! It really is an Island Paradise!!! Goodbye Boracay! Goodbye Sand! Goodbye Chalet! See you soon!!!!! *** I promise…..

After a very long ferry ride, which I didn’t even notice because I slept the whole time we’re back in Manila. Our vacation was truly an experience to remember. There are some events that happened I’d rather keep to my memory box in my head. Maybe if you pick my brain you’d know… hehe… I’m back to reality….
